Gas Boiler Service Dublin
An annual service catches small faults before they become breakdowns, keeps your warranty valid and keeps your family safe from carbon monoxide.
Why book an annual gas boiler service?
A gas boiler burns fuel inside your home every day. Over a year, dust, debris and wear build up on the burner, the heat exchanger and the seals. A boiler that is never serviced uses more gas, breaks down more often and, in the worst case, can leak carbon monoxide without any warning.
A yearly gas boiler service by an RGI registered engineer is the simplest way to keep your heating safe, efficient and reliable. Most manufacturers also make an annual service a condition of their warranty, so skipping it can leave you paying for a repair that would otherwise have been covered.

- Burner, heat exchanger and flue checks

One fixed price: €140
Our gas boiler service costs a fixed €140. There is no hourly rate and no surprise call-out charge. If the engineer finds a fault during the service, we explain it and tell you the price before doing any extra work — and if you go ahead, the combined service and repair is €195. See our full price list for every fixed price.
How long it takes
Most services are finished in under an hour. The engineer runs the boiler, tests the flue gases with a combustion analyser, opens the case to clean and inspect the internal parts, checks the gas pressure and flow, and then tests the boiler again before leaving. You can stay at home as normal while the work is done; your heating and hot water are only off for part of the visit.
Your RGI service certificate
Every service is carried out by an RGI registered gas installer — the legal requirement for gas work in Ireland. When the job is done you get a written service record showing what was checked and the results. Keep it with your boiler paperwork for your warranty, your home insurance, or your tenants if you are a landlord. Read more about what an RGI registered gas installer is.
